SSSRA Stingrays & Police Officer Basketball Game
The annual SSSRA Stingrays & Torch Run Police Officer Basketball Game was held on Tuesday, March 8. Police officers and representatives from Worth, Matteson, Richton Park, Park Forest, and Tinley Park joined our athletes on the court. Thank you to all of the police officers and representatives.
Thank you to the Matteson Recreational Division and the Matteson Community Center for hosting the game. And thank you to everyone who came to cheer on the athletes.
Every year, this game is the highlight of the season for athletes, coaches, families, SSSRA staff, and police department representatives! Connor told us the that he, “likes playing against the authorities,” and Isabella shared that she, “likes scoring baskets against the police officers.”
We were so happy to have this game return and are already looking forward to 2023!
