Safety Guidelines

COVID-19 Guidelines

Below please find the current safety guidelines as of Monday, February 28. Please note that guidelines are subject to change.

SSSRA Participants and SSSRA Employees:

– Masks are optional while in the SSSRA building and/or SSSRA vehicles, regardless of if you have been vaccinated or not.

– SSSRA will follow all park district guidelines when participating at the park district facility.

– SSSRA participants must be able to maintain six (6) feet apart from other participants/staff.

– SSSRA participants must be able to stay with the group.

– SSSRA participants and employees must be symptom free to attend the program/special event.

If SSSRA participants or employees test positive for COVID-19:

• Isolate at home for five (5) days.

• If you have no symptoms or symptoms are resolving after five (5) days, end isolation.

• Continue to wear a mask around others for five (5) additional days.

• If you have a fever, continue to isolate at home until your fever resolves.

If SSSRA participants or employees have been exposed to someone with COVID-19:

If you (1) completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over six (6) months ago and are not boosted, or (2) completed the primary series of J&J over two (2) months ago and are not boosted, or (3) are unvaccinated:

• Quarantine at home for five (5) days.
• Continue to wear a mask around others for five (5) additional days.
• Test on day five (5) if possible.
• If you develop symptoms, test and follow the isolation guidance.

If you are (1) boosted, or (2) completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last six (6) months, or (3) completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last two (2) months:

• Wear a mask around others for 10 days.
• Test on day five (5) if possible.

*Fully vaccinated means having received both doses of Pfizer or Moderna, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson, plus a two-week waiting period after the last dose.
