2026 Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games

The 2026 Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games were held June 12 to 14 at Illinois State University.
21 athletes and 4 Unified Partners represented SSSRA in Track & Field, Unified Cornhole and Powerlifting.
Athletes demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout the weekend. They also had the opportunity to visit Olympic Town, which featured carnival-style games and Healthy Athletes, which included free fitness, vision and hearing screenings. Opening Ceremonies and the Victory Dance brought everyone together to celebrate.
