2023 SSSRA & Police Officer Basketball Game
SSSRA hosted the annual SSSRA & Police Officer Basketball Game at the Matteson Community Center on Tuesday, February 28. Teams were comprised of Stingrays Basketball athletes, police officers, and other local representatives. This game is a highlight of the season for Stingrays Basketball athletes and police officers. Players, coaches, and fans that came to support the game had a great night!
Robby F., one of the police officers, said he was, “Very grateful to be able to participate and very grateful for you and your staff for putting on an event that represents the fighting spirit of the athletes and that allows for such a fun night.”
Stingrays athlete, Thaddeus S., said, “The 911 game was fun!”

Thank you to the local Boy Scouts who led the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of the game. We would also like to thank Matteson Recreational Division, Tyrone Davis, and the Matteson Community Center staff for the use of the facility.
